Vegan shoe porn

My shoe shopping usually leads me to Payless for cute crap, No Sweat for everyday shoes, and Zappo's and Planetshoes for shoes that I'll pay a bit more for.

I recently bought two pairs of shoes, these Blowfish Snap Flannels from Planetshoes, also pictured above, were the first:
These are mainly for work. I think they're freaking adorable, and dig the strap, and they are comfortable - but they're very 'slipper' type shoes.
Better than Payless crap, but I need to treat my feet right due to foot problems in the past year, and these don't offer much support. However, these are fun to skip in and feel like a ballerina.

The second pair I bought, J-41 Sidelines, are proving excellent for everyday walking and offer true support:

They're almost a little too sneaker-y for work, but I can pull it off in some outfits. They've taken a little bit of wearing in, and I had to order a size up (as instructed on Zappos). These are the most expensive shoes I think I've ever worn at $93, but so far, I can practically say they are worth it. It's weird wearing shoes with 'Jeep' technology or whatever, but I really do like them.

Sorry for the odd shot! I actually like the Sideline Mesh style and colors a bit more, but the rain (cough: mist:) in Portland talked me into the corduroy sides.

I'll reconsider this summer...
And shoes that I wouldn't mind owning in the future:

Sugar shoes from Alternative Outfitters. I've had a couple pairs of sugar mary janes in the past and adored them.

How could this list be complete with a mention of Earth shoes? I was really close to buying this pair of Inhales, but needed a bit more support that what they seemed to offer.

And thank you to Kim for pointing me in the direction of these Seychelles and BC The Wildlife Preserve Shoes:

aww, aw, aw! I want.

What's your favorite pair of vegan shoes?

I'm a guy, so I'm not sure my opinion counts :-)

My current favorite brand is Vegetarian Shoes...high quality stuff that's really comfortable.

I really want to love Earth Shoes, since they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn...but they fall apart way too fast.

The New Yorker in me still buys my shoes from Mooshoes

Cute shoes! All of them! But I must buy a pair of those fuzzy bunny heels!

I love Sugar Shoes! I had a pair I wore into the ground and have never been able to find the same ones in my size again.

They are all very cute, I like the cord. sided ones especially.

sadly, I can so not afford the vegan shoes i want, but i am lucky enough to own two pairs of Earth shoes (a pair of sandals and a pair of sneakers...yay for bdays!)

but the rest of my shoes are just cheapo 'accidentally vegan' varieties.

oh, how i covet! ;)

I am addicted to Zappos. I bought a pair of vegan Earth shoes once, and they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever... I don't mind the "negative heel," but I'll be damned if they don't cut into my ankles every time I wear them. I gave up!!

Your shoes are very cute! I love the green ones at the top. And I also like Sugar shoes!

As for my favorites... I recently bought these: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7308431/c/113791.html

...in the Metallic Mocha Satin & could not be happier! SUPER comfortable, and cute as hell (I think). Yay, vegan shoe fetishes!

Oopsie! Sorry my "link" there didn't turn into an actual link... I don't know how to do that in comments!

I've had the J-41 Sidelines on the brain lately--I have the SAME PAIR you do. Well, not the same one, ha ha, but the same color. Yes, scarily expensive... but sooooo comfortable. They have all sorts of new (or new to me) color combos this spring for them, that I didn't see when I bought mine in the fall. I might be going to Mooshoes this weekend & I am afraid I might cave & get another pair. ;)

I have a pair of Earth shoes & love them--I'm a little nervous about the first commenter saying they fall apart fast (mine are only a few months old).

Ohhhhh shoes. I love them.

Those shoes are so comfortable.

All of those shoes are very cute! Not sure if anyone gets Lucky magazine but they had an entire spread dedicated to eco friendly clothes and most of the shoes were vegan. Granted they were $300+ but it was cool to see!

I love the first shoes - they look like something I'd wear!

All so very cute! I'm just too cheap to buy vegan shoes, myself. I get all man-made materials at cheap prices. Someday I'll be able to afford things like these!

I used to buy Earth shoes. Then I found out that their leather boots (which I would not buy) with fur still utilize REAL RABBIT FUR. FROM CHINA. Which could easily translate into poorly raised rabbit or even rabbit fur with cat and dog fur mixed in. No animal fur should be used--and this is a company that has a vegan line.

I love shoes! The bunny heels are my fave that you showed :). I have 2 pairs of Earth shoes that I love (I got both pairs brand new on Ebay for less than $25 incl. shipping) here's my cute boots:

My other pair of Vegan Earth's gave me a wicked bad blister for so long, but my feet finally got over it with the help of thick socks and layered bandaids. I also have 2 pairs of vegan Birkenstock's (before they were discontinued) that I LOVE. Hmmm. I have a lot of shoes. I've found a lot of cute nonleather heels in random stores. I've been watching for a vegan pair of Dansko's on Ebay, but haven't found one in my size yet (the felt ones are vegan). Yay, shoes!

I wish I could wear cute flats like that! I'm short enough, especially standing next to my fiance, who is about a foot taller than me. I stick with heels.

They are all adorable but I love the sugar shoes most of all.

Jess, you have such teensy feet. My feet are huge for my size--Polish peasant feet ;)

I'm a high-heel kinda' girl but I've been buying more and more flats.

I love the bunny ones!

I can't imagine giving up leather shoes - must be so hard! And the most expensive shoe was only $93? That's actually pretty good.
