Last night's dinner was macaroni & cheez. I added some cayenne & mustard to the original recipe and made a big batch of sauce to use again this week.
I made a small batch of cupcakes to use the rest of my black raspberry buttercream from the other day. I used the Veganlunchbox recipe for fluffy white cupcakes, minus the coconut extract but plus a couple teaspoons of dried coconut. I'm amazed at how damn fluffy these are.
Speaking of the filling, the cake I donated to the IPRC bake off won "Yummiest Cake". Oh, man! The finished cake looked and probably tasted very similar to the anniversary cake.

I just watched all 4 episodes of the PPK that are on google! So awesome and actually very comical too!
I'll have to try that Mac and Cheez recipe-look delish! :)
Way to go on your win. The cake looked scrumptious. I can really appreciate good mac 'n' "cheez." I had some tasty version of that at The Chicago Diner this past week but I have to say, yours looks even better than what I had!!!
I have heard that smaller asparagus is sweeter/tastier than the bigguns... do you find that to be true?
Nice cupcakes with that bright pink frosting. Fab!
Can you please overnight-express-mail me a cupcake?
love love LOVE that pink frosting! brings out the former sorority girl in me (gasp!). Just kidding...I mean, I was a sorority girl but certainly nowhere near the stereotype.
