Asparagus is awesome.

Local Dae Hahn firm tofu fried in a light spray of braggs in canola oil, with Soy Vay chinese marinade and some szechuan sauce. On the side is white rice (quick dinner tonight!) and sesame asparagus, a la Vegan with a Vengenaence. Great recipe - it consists of sesame oil [I used toasted], minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, rice vinegar and soy sauce.
I subbed a tiny bit of agave for some of the rice vinegar, because rice vinegar is a lot for me to take. Both the asparagus and the tofu were topped with toasted sesame seeds. I'm looking forward to my leftovers of all of this tommorow~ Best meal I've made and enjoyed in quite a bit.

Thomas took a photo of his dinner while I was napping this weekend, quite a pleasant surprise to find as was uploading the photos~ Faux chicken sandwich with tomato, baby spinach & Vegenaise on whole wheat bread, with french fries and ketchup. Classic!
No Mid-Week munchies for me, but I'll pick up some greens and veggies from the weekday farmer's market lunch visit tommorow.

Which farmer's market do you go to? I went to the one at People's last week, and bought some good stuff, but it sure wasn't very big. I suppose I'm still spoiled from living in California.

Looks great!! I haven't been able to find this Soy Vay sauce, and it sounds like a winner from what I've seen on yours and Nancy's blogs. Need to find this stuff!

I tried the Soy Vay once, and it was incredibly sweet -- too sweet for me.

I love that the front-most french fry looks like it's stalking the ketchup puddle.

Yummy food, by the way!

Danielle - it is a very very sweet sauce, I definitely add szechuan sauce to spice it up when it's just for me. My boyfriend on the other hand thinks it's fine the way it is.
