easy pasta dinner for two

Pasta for Jess (veggie primavera) and Pasta for Thomas (TJ's Roasted red pepper sauce and parmesan cheese)
Both with Italian fried tofu.

Sorry folks, no Midweek Munchies so far.

I did go to Whole Foods after work, and I knew I didn't have my debit card, but I thought I had my checkbook..which I did not (after shopping around for 20 something minutes). I do not write checks on a regular basis, but I wrote a check for No More Bull! at VegFest, and the checkbook was nervously thrown into a different bag than back into my wallet. I walked home from WF, though, I needed a good walk across the river. Possibly a shopping trip after work...

Also, check out this recipe for Carrot-Lavender-Ginger from Blossoming Lotus (where I had one of the best soups of my life - creamy kuri carrot).
I have a lot of recipes on the agenda but I'd like to make this in the future, probably minus the lavender.

Looks good. Although, that peanut butter cannoli (a couple entries ago) is what I'm after:)

Harmonia - It is firm tofu marinaded in balsamic viniagarette and braggs, fried in olive oil.

sarchan- thanks, the leftover peanut butter mousse is still in my fridge waiting for another chance to shine.

You should really try out the macro setting on your camera. Your close-up pictures would look much better.

You're going to have to make Pasta for me sometime to show me it's good.

I will have to try the alfredo sauce with the tofu base you suggested on my blog! Thanks! I've been missing alfredo sauce!

:)

Also, I just posted a few more things I bought today!

Wow, I'm always so jealous of those who have a Whole Foods near them. The closest one is about an hour away from here. Thankfully, we do have a small local health food store, but Whole Foods it ain't....
