I bought string beans this past weekend so I could have one less reason *not* to make the maple mustard potatoes and string beans in VWAV, but alas, my friend is borrowing my book..so I decided to do my own maple mustard string beans and base it off a couple recipes I googled.
Ingredients:
- string beans
- 1 tablespoon organic mustard
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- dashes of sea salt & pepper
I also cooked homefries with spike, crushed garlic, olive oil, pepper and sea salt. The sandwich was on the potato bread, and contained roasted red peppers, baby spinach, tempeh bacon, vegenaise and nayonaise. On the side, some fresh mango.
Question: what's your favorite way to cook tvp?

Hi!
Great pictures! I think the lil one is quite photogenic! :)
I just posted about the 3 kinds of hummus I made with a strange question at the end when you have time to swing by.
Thanks Harmonia! I replied on your blog~
aw - my kitty used to love spinach - she even used to meow for it - but she's over that phase and won't eat it now :(
I love your site!
Your kitty's a cuteness! My kitty likes anything and freaks out and goes crazy (meowing, dancing, etc) for soy ice cream and yogurt. Weird. When he was a kitten, he climbed up my body, and dove from my shoulder into a bowl of spaghetti sauce! He loves everything! I know most cats like chickpeas too (it's the proteins, I think)
Your kitty is very photogenic. My cat goes nuts when I break out the Soy Delicious. I also mentioned that she went nuts for the mushroomy sauce of this salisbury tempeh I once cooked. And she likes to eat teeny bits of potatoes with Earth Balance and will somtimes eat tofu.
I found your post when I was googling to find out if spinach was okay for cats to eat. I figured it was, but thought it best to make sure. Since one of mine jumped up on the counter and stole a piece out of my salad last night LOL. He loved it!
