Why, it is post 160!

Breakfast from Jam on Hawthorne.

Curry tofu scramble with roasted red peppers, spinach and mushrooms.
The majority of their produce is local, organic and comes from the farm stand across the street.
This plate came with whole wheat toast and hash browns (my favorite PDX potatoes). I used both strawberry mango and pear chai jam - oh yes.
I hadn't been to Jam in quite a few months, but we had a coupon and a reason, and it was splendid. I'd prefer my tofu cooked a bit more, but this was a trillion times better than the not very cooked at all plate I had my previous time that burned me out.
Thomas had Ty's special, veggie biscuits and gravy, which he also recommends.

Roasted tempeh from LA Kitchen. You saw my giant block of tempeh (probably), and I've been using it! I made boiled potatoes and the suggested steamed spinach and sweet mustard sauce with this. I was honestly not into the mustard sauce, but the tempeh alone - SUCCULENT.

Creamy Tomato Soup, a PPK test recipe for next years's VWAV full cookbook sequel. On top is chopped organic spinach.

Sauteed navy beans and spinach in garlic, olive oil and crushed red pepper, on top of a piece of organic three-seeded New Seasons baguette. Yes, I adore New Seasons. I am actually excited to take my sister there when she visits! (which is early January)

Multi-colored bulk popcorn blend. Gotta say, I was dissapointed it didn't pop crimson! Oh well.

P.S. I know, I need to clean my camera and really work on the lighting
. P.P.S. I hung up seasonal lights in the bedroom tonight, tis the season or something.

I so *need* that creamy tomato soup recipe. After seeing the picture on your blog, I scoured the internet in search of a similar recipe and came up empty handed...it sounded so good for dinner tonight. Alas...

Strawberry mango and pear chai jam? That place is so cool! Your tempeh looks great. I'm making a tempeh dish right now (I have a job during dinner time tonight).
The bun - OMG, I want one! I need to start making my own breads. The health food store near me carries bread which a lot of times has eggs (don't ask me why!).

I'm not a huge fan of tempeh, but your posts make me want to give it a try again!

The soup looks awesome and reminded me that I have a tomato cous cous soup on my list to try next.
