I must find that rice! We have SOME Of that brand of stuff in our stores but it's scarce.

As for the Down Under Naturals Shampoo...I found it at Big Lots! Do you have those on the west coast? jw

S'MORES CUPCAKE.

Excuse me. I need to go drown in a pool of my own drool now.

That is a break"feast"... wow! Jess, what else is in that Chipotle spread? I love the smoky, not too spicy quality of chipotle, and this really appeals to me!

Harmonia - Find the rice & enjoy! I was surprised at how good it was. Thanks for the tip on Down Unders Shampoo, I have no idea if we have Big Lots here..

Vegancore- they were amazing. I have one more left, but no recipes yet as Webly is a tester for the new VWAV cupcake book.

Dreena - Thanks! More info on yumm spread: http://www.cafeyumm.com/Sauce.html
My friend is trying to emulate it, but the ingredients, as you can see, is a bit elusive. The spread is so addictive, but expensive (now 4.29 a little jar!) so we buy it sparingly.

I've seen you post on a lot of blogs I visit and decided to see what you've been cooking. Holy Moley! Everything looks fantastic. Keep it coming!

Sticky Fingers bakery has a S'mores cake. My boyfriend got it for me for my b-day once, and it was awesome. But making my own s'mores cupcakes--well, that's gotta be good.

Went shopping last night - still couldn't find that rice. Oh well. I bought some brown rice instead. I just posted a recipe for Spiced Lentil Soup when you have time to check it out.

I might have to post a weekly shopping list MeMe or something - I enjoy read what other veg*ns buy...gives me ideas. What do you think - should we start one and see who participates? Let me know.

The cupcake must be mentioned first: WOW. YUM. I'm drooling with vegancore! What a spread you had this weekend! I like that the rice looks good, as I am box-hesitant. We have that brand all over the place here (Harmonia, I'll send you some!) and I think I may try it. How long does it take to cook (again)? This all looks wonderful! Keep it coming.

Harmonia... I'd like to be in on it too. Great idea! Plus, it helps gather for recipes. I have a typed-out-weekly-staples-list and it helps me remember what I like to keep in the house (when also buying a ton of random items).

I have had the idea of taking photos of the pantry, but gosh, I'm just such a nosey-one like that!!! I can't help but stare into people's carts at the store!

Danielle & Eatpeaceplease - again thanks to Isa and Webly for that one : )

I was pleasantly surprised by the box mix. The only boxed food I really enjoy is Near East wild mushroom cous cous, and my boyfriend is big fan of TJ's boxed corn bread. Webly asked me to bring Spanish Rice and I didn't have much time to cook that day, and had never made Spanish Rice from scratch before, so I picked up a box~

I'm also nosy at supermarkets, and love grocery shopping and sometimes post on the veggiegrocery livejournal community. I'd be interested in doing it here as well.

um, can we talk about HOW BADLY I want the VwaV cupcake book? It isn't coming out until the fall! How on earth can we WAIT THAT LONG! All the pics I've seen of the cupcakes (and hearing the flavors) sounds truly amazing. Oh man. Cupcake heaven awaits us all.
Love all your photos, as usual =)

Ms. Mercedes: We are on the same page. I only wish I had been active on the ppk boards longer so I could have been a tester.

Kaivegan- thank you! I love new visitors~

amy-thank you! as always~ The pancakes were even good the next day, and I'm a big leftover snob, haha.
