weekend stuff

This weekend I attended the PPK Vegan the Gathering Version 2.0, and had a blast there and at the pre- and post- activities. Vegans and arcades and karaoke and booze and wanderings and gossip, oh my. Just what I needed. I love being around these people. Fellow bloggers included Sarah of Emo Potato, Ben of SuicideFood, Bobbi of Vegan Street, Brian of VeganAnchronism, Julie Hasson of Everyday Dish, the Shizzle, Mary of Pickledtreats and Vegan Hampton Roads and of course that Isa person. Whew. I'm not going to post any photos since I didn't get any of food, but my set of photos is here. So, onto whatever.

Joanna and I met for lunch and our sandwiches attacked us with tator tots.

Psst, the vegan club isn't technically on the menu, you have to ask for it. Like me. And then have a vegan heart attack.

Some reheating of the leftover tator tots, Trader Joe's soy nuggets, Trader Joe's BBQ sauce and steamed kale with braggs. Well, a couple small pieces of grilled tofu thrown in for good (random??) measure.

Rest assured I'll be going to the downtown farmer's market on my lunch hour for produce.
