Feeling fancy....

A dear friend from college was in town this weekend (she's moving here this summer!) and we went out with our boyfriends to The Farm Cafe.
These photos are actually from my visit last month, when I was still experiencing a rush from watching Cloverfield right before, but I never got around to posting them. My friend had dined there before on a previous visit, and after I described it we both realized we had the same place in mind for that evening's dinner. Not only were we a block away at the Doug Fir lounge where
I enjoyed a Blackberry Cosmo, but I had it on the brain/taste buds after writing Stumptown Vegans' most recent review. I'll stop here, since you can just hop over to SV to read the rest if you so choose.

Enjoy the food porn!

Herb Crusted Tofu with Mushroom Marsala and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Rosemary Roasted Hazelnuts (with Tabasco and brown sugar)

Roasted Garlic Appetizer

My Tequila Mockingbird and Thomas' Rogue Hazelnut Nectar

The tofu is the only vegan entree on the menu, it's true! But I am not complaining whatsoever.

Oooh la la- hey, I'm happy with any vegan items on a menu. Even just a recognition that they understand the word!
