wow, that's gorgeous!!

and by the way, is that a silicone hot spot as the background? that's a brilliant idea! it looks fantastic!

Yes! It certainly is. I take a lot of photos on the stove since there's good lighting and I cook mostly at night, but that night the stove was a mess, so my sister grabbed the hot spot.

Glam food pics!

I soaked black beans and made cucumber salsa the other day. Sadly, it turned out pretty horrible.

The chop wizard rocks!

Everything looks so good. I've never poached a pear- it's about time! What cool cooking collaboration!

Are you a chocolate-pear person?
I tried some fancy chocolate covered dried pears and wasn't really into them - but some people die for them.

That pear looks divine! I'm not the biggest pear eater when raw, but I like them worked into desserts lightly cooked, and your pic just shines! And those tortillas... omg, that is so up my street these days! Must be the winter weather, I'm lovin' chili and spicier foods!

Wow, those are some impressive looking recipes. The pear looks absolutely divine.

I'm also really interested in the PPK gumbo. You're one lucky tester there...can't wait to see the book!

Happy Anniversary! Your blog is one of the ones that inspired me to go from vegetarian to vegan. I'm glad I found it and that you are here.
